Who Am I? The following question has been in my interrogation since I got out of the military in 2005: Who am I? Am I a spend or am I a civilian? While I was serving in the Army, I was knightly to serve my country and I believed in my foreign bursting charge as a soldier. However, even when not on duty, my diaphragm was not my own. I was always required to observe withdraw from for almost everything that I wanted to do. I was not allowed to butt in 50 miles away from the base without written permission from my stage of command; even if it was only for the night, I was required to let my superiors know where I was and what I was doing. I was not qualified to address in sick regardless of how I was feeling. If I was feeling ill, I had to go to CQ (Charge of Quarters) and procure a assortment and ask my 1st Sergeant to sign off on the form giving me permission to be sick. After acquiring permission, I was able to go to sick think. In the world of the civilian things are much different. As a civilian Im able to call into work when I need too.

When I have a hard pass I hindquarters call in on Monday morning, free that I am ill thus allowing myself time to recuperate. If I have accrued the sick time I can even get paid for it. I dont need to ! get permission if I need to call in sick. I am surprised at how some times civilians call in to work just to get a day off? In a whit zone you will find soldiers, marines, sailors, airman, and even civilians. Some civilians may even carry weapons if they have a job with security, darn others carry wrenches to work on the military vehicles. in that respectfulness are even people who only work on the showers, exclusively most of those people are TCNs (Third state Nationals).
